process: I studied the patio cover’s structure and joinery to accurately show how panels connect and provide shade and heat protection. technical features were translated into a clear, consumer-friendly visual story, with subtle cues like sun rays and reflections to suggest cooling performance.

solution: I created a clean, stylized illustration in Adobe Illustrator that balanced accuracy with a warm, lifestyle feel. the focus showed the patio cover as part of a comfortable outdoor space, not just a technical product.
