instruction sheet
client: apple furniture
process: starting with an unassembled DVD cabinet and no instructions, I reverse-engineered the product by studying components, fasteners, and connection points. using my aerospace illustration background and technical writing training, I determined the correct assembly sequence and how to present it clearly.
solution: I created a single-frame instructional sheet showing step-by-step assembly, labeled parts, fasteners, and a parts list, along with a view of the finished cabinet for reference.
outcome: the final guide turned a confusing assembly into a clear visual roadmap, reducing guesswork and improving the customer setup experience.
